PORTABILITY TOOL RENAME FILES SYMBOLS CONVAL ASP
Short Description:
------------------
Renames file/symbol references in your source files.
Long Description:
-----------------
Is your application already running and you want to port it to a
different platform or user environment? But to do that you first
need to change its external names?
Would you like to get your application naming conventions
organized to be ready for Repository?
Now that you're finished writing your program, would you like to
go back and change your symbol names to a uniform naming
convention (e.g. Hungarian notation)?
The more software you write the more you must maintain. A good
naming convention can reduce the maintainance effort.
ReNamer will read the set of all ASCII files associated with your
application (source code and documentation files), changing
filenames and symbols according to a naming transform you supply.
It does this globally and uniformly, in a fraction of the time it
would take for you to do it manually! Not a simple replacement
program, this honors the syntax of symbols and source statements
for BASIC, BAT files, C, C++, COBOL, FORTRAN, MASM, Oracle,
Pascal, PL/I, REXX, SQL and xBASE.
